Both the Cloud and Installed versions of Insight allow you to access the information from anywhere that you can get an internet connection. Wherever you are in the world, as long as you have access to the internet, you can get access to your Insight.
Installed Insight
The same software that is required in order for you to allow “non Windows PC” devices gives you the ability to connect from anywhere in the world. We call it Insight Remote Access or IRA. There are costs associated with purchasing and setting up this additional software and our support staff need to access your router firewall to ensure that everything is properly secured. Again, there may be additional charges if you are trying to connect to Insight that is installed on a multi-computer network at your business from the internet.
Insight Cloud
The Cloud version is installed on our servers and is already available to you from your secure login from wherever you happen to be at the time. There is nothing additional to purchase or configure.
