If you are switching to Insight from one of our competitors or if you have been storing your client data in some other format, we may be able to convert that data for use in Insight. The cost to convert data is billed at $75.00 per hour. We will happily analyze any information you currently have and give you a quote before proceeding. Depending on the number of clients you have, the cost will only be pennies per client and will save you hours of re-entering data. Please contact a sales rep for more information and to receive a quote for converting your data.
A few of our customers ask if we can instruct them on how to do their own data conversion. The simple answer is no. Since Insight is also capable of proceesing credit card payments, we have to comply with all the security standards set out in the PCI and PA-DSS certification process. Part of those standards state that our databases must be encrypted and secured with a password. As a result, only Insight developers can gain access to the Insight database files so our programmers need to complete your data conversion process.
