How to schedule a repeating mass text/email message

These instructions will guide you to set up a recurring mass email or text. If you’d like to send out a mass email/text just one time, click here instead.

If you have never sent an email from Insight, follow the steps here to set up emailing.

Create your message #

First, we need to make a template for what will send out to clients. Go to SetupTemplates. Choose Email Templates if you’re sending an email, or SMS Templates if you are sending a text (add-on feature). Create your message here. If you need help doing so, view instructions here.

Note: If you want to avoid using multiple text message credits per message, be sure the message content is within 160 characters (including spaces).

Set client marketing preferences #

Next, we need enable marketing emails and/or texts for all clients.

  1. Go to ClientsActionsSet All Marketing Preferences.
  2. Check off email and/or sms here and click ok.
  3. Insight will now go through and set preferences for all clients. This can take a while if you have a large number of clients.

Create the mass email/text event #

Go to SetupEvents SetupMarketing Events and follow these steps:
